Bali trip
Last week, we went to Bali for vacation, stay there for 5 days and 4 night.
We enjoy the trip very much, is a nice place for vacation, rest, relax ....On our first day tour, Upon arrival at Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport, the tour guide sent us to the Harris Kuta hotel which is a 4 star and modern style hotel, 2 colours represent their hotel images, which is orange and white.
At 4 pm, we depart to the uluwatu temple, the mysterious holly ancient temple, built since 16 century by the Indian Priest from India. Is one the important and magnificent ancient monument for Balinese people. This temple is located at the level of 250 feet's above sea level on the cliff of southern point of Pura Luhur with cycloramic views. In other words, from sunrise to sunset.
There are a lot of fierce monkeys there. I had a very bad experience over there, we were told by the tour guide that cannot wear spec, hat, bracelet, as they will grap it. I walked besides my hubby, never thought that his backpack still attached with the key chain. And I became the victim while the monkey grap it, the monkey climbed through my shoulder and knocked my head, grapped it. Really terrible experience I had in my life....be careful next time if you go there.
We had our candle light dinner at Tanjong Benoa Beach-Jimbaran seafood restaurant during sun set, all the tables located at the beach, sea view, the environment there are so romantic :)
Second day of our tour, begin with the traditional Barong and Kris Dance, visited the village of Celuk, famous of its gold and silver work, the village of MAS, a wood carving center, an artist's colony and handicraft centers at Ubud, a sacred holy spring temple at Tampaksiring, the mysterious Elephant Cave and finally Kintamani village, perched on the rim of the Batur Volcanic basin.
On the third day, we had visited an ancient Mengwi Royal Family's Taman Ayun Temple. The famous Beretan Lake Temple built in 11th century, Mysterious Alas Kedaton Monkey forest, and finally Tanah Lot, a temple which Perched on a rocky outcrop in the sea located at the west coasts of Bali, in time for sunset. That is the place that you should not missed to see it.
On the following day tour, we went to Sukawati for shopping, is a cheapest market where you can grap a lot of souvenier as all the goods selling there are first hand, is a main central, they will out source all their goods to different area. No doubt you also can purchase the goods from different area at lower prices provided that you know how to bargain the price from 50 - 70 % discount off.
Last day of our tour, after having the breakfast at hotel, without having much time, we just walk leisurely surrounded the hotel, notice that few peopls sitting nearby the swimming pool there for Yoga lesson, is free of charge, so we joined it as well. After the lesson finished, we chat with the yoga instructor for a while, he told us that usually he will charge his student one lesson for USD15. So, we feel that this hotel, quite impress us, as having this kind of service.
