My hubby told me that he want to bake cake during father’s day last 2 weeks, I thought he just kidding. On that father’s day, is sunday. We brought our baby went to youth park in the morning. After that, went for lunch. When the time we back, the time was already 2:30 pm. His brother said that he miss the Malaysia durian, so we bought it and eat at home.
After eating, they all went back to their house, my hubby bring out all the cake ingredients, and preheat the oven. I was helping him besides to measure the ingredients-flour, milk, butter and wash the plate.
He was so enjoy to mix the cake ingredients by using the electric mixer and prepare the cake crumble. Look at him, I feel happy also as next time he might bake the cake for me, Just wonder got this opportunity or not ??
He poured the cake into the bake pan and put it into the oven. It baked for an hour, the cake was successfully made, almost like the one show in the recipe book. Quite satisfied also.hehe..:)
Then we brought it to the father’s day celebration party, let all the father’s cut the cake together. Luckily the cake able to finish all, his grandmother took 3 pieces of cake somemore, not bad huh…just that the cake got a bit sweet…so I think next time perhaps he can reduce the sugar, no need to follow exactly per the recipe. That’s his first cake – Pumpkin Almond Cake.
Next week, is my niece one year old. No idea what to give him as a birthday gift. He already had a lot of toys. At first want to buy the small swimming pool as he likes water, let him swim at his house’s garden there. But heard that his uncle who staying in Singapore already bought to him so I have to think again. I am asking around my friend and colleagues, they gave me the answer is like that give him Ang Pao (money) more reality.
Cindy sitting at the car seat biting her leg while we are having home cook dinner yesterday night. I am so surprise that she didn’t erk..erk…erk…want us to hug her. We just leave her alone playing her toys there. Good..next time I know what to do already when we are having dinner at home.
I cooked steam roasted pork for dinner, my FIL keep on asking me is it cooked by you? I replied him said that yes…is cooked by me. He cant believe that I can cook for this dishes..keep on praised that is very yummy..i told him that will cook again when BIL back from china this coming Thursday.
We are cracking our head, thinking of what to prepare for welcome BIL who will back on this coming Thursday from china- Shenzhen . He told my hubby that he miss her mother’s cook very much. Due to my MIL recently not very strong, so we want to make something for him to eat on behalf of my MIL. Perhaps we will make sushi for him tomorrow night.
He went there since this year Feb until now, about half year already.. He miss my daughter so much also, always ask my MIL that don’t know whether she still can recognise him or not when he back from china. That time when he went to china, she only 2 months old. We can see her a huge different from photo as she is growing already.
We bought one pair of earings for my mother. No doubt she always likes to say that don’t waste the money buy things for her. I can feel that she likes the earning, when I gave the gift to her, she so happy and wear it immediately.
Until now, she still wear it. So I feel that is worth than enough already
Every year I only play a role of celebrating mother’s day with mother and MIL.
While this year makes a difference, my kid and hubby celebrate with me :P Although we just went to normal restaurant took our lunch. But I wish that every year they can celebrate with me. I would appreciate of it. Not so greedy, right?
But the event that impressed me so much is that all the mothers celebrate mother’s day together especially when we sing the song of
My daughter be the 4th generation of my grandmother.
I thought he will give me surprise on our first year wedding anniversary, like make the reservation for candle light dinner, flower....and etc...who know he didnt do any one of it :(
But luckily he still remember that is our anniversary date, didnt entertain customer:P He brought me go to Tao's there for japanese buffet dinner, and almost until the end of dinner, he suddenly brought up the gift, and told me that he designed and custom made for this gift (diamond pendent) since i gave birth to my baby, so appreciate it.
But i dare not wear this pendent again as i have lost it once, no confidence already, i will keep this for my daugther when she is grow up.
